Braun Series 3 ProSkin Review Review – Basic Shaver
A shaver that’s just under the mid-price range of electric shavers from Braun. We are looking at a basic shaver — without the bells and whistles –which is not a bad buy, but don’t expect a Series 9 Pro performance.
Braun Series 5 Review – The EasyClean Generation
The S5 is ergonomically friendly, and I found it performs well for an affordable (not quite mid-range priced) shaver. While it is not in the same performance area as the top-end shavers, the Series 5 has shaved very well for me.
Braun Series 6 Review (SensoFlex) – It’s Easy On The Skin
This generation of the Series 6 is what’s known as the Braun Series 6 SensoFoil Shaver. It has a certain mildness of shave that suits men shaving daily or every other day and has a little extra comfort compared to the S5.
Braun Series 7 Review (Flex Models) – More Flex Than S5/S6
The Braun Series 7 360° Flex is probably the most popular shaver of all from the Braun range. I found it has a good balance between cost and performance compared to the top-of-the-range electric shavers that may dent the wallet.
Braun Series 8 8567cc Review – All the 85** Models are the Same Shavers
The Braun Series 8 8567cc (and any 85xx model number) is the latest for 2025 after a small revision made on the previous models. I was pleasantly surprised at how efficient the shaves were, and revisiting the S8 proved to give it more credit.
Braun Series 9 Pro Review – Great Performance & Results
I put the Braun Series 9 Pro electric shaver through its paces and found a lot we liked and important improvements on the previous shavers. This is the Braun flagship electric shaver that took over the previous S9.
Braun Series 9 Pro + Review
There have not been any significant changes with the last S9 Pro after using and comparing the Braun Series 9 Pro +. However, it is useful to have the latest edition, and the bottom line with the S9 Pro (and Plus) is they’re a cut above the rest in performance and comfort.
Braun XT5 Hybrid Review
The Braun XT5 is a hybrid multi-tool that aims to trim, shave, and body groom –all in one. Is it possible for a small device like the XT5 to adapt to these tasks easily or not? Well, that’s a yes and no from me, based on how much quality a user wants.
Philips (Norelco)
Philips S3233 Review (3000 Series Shaver)
The Philips (Norelco) 3000 Series is a basic shaver with some additional features over the previous Series 1000 and 2000 models. While it does not perform like a higher-end shaver, I found it offers a comfortable enough shave at an affordable price.
Philips S7788 Review (7000 Series Shaver )
This generation of Philips Norelco 7000 Series–7700 models, including the S7788, are shavers that are heading toward the top of the range in rotary-style shavers. They offer a variety of features, including 90,000 cutting actions per minute.
Philips Norelco S9000 Prestige Review
The Philips Norelco S9000 Prestige has a lot of cutting action and functions going on for those willing to spend cash on a top-of-the-range electric shaver. It gives me a super comfortable shave that feels more comfortable than most others. Suitable for all skin types!
Panasonic
Panasonic Arc 5 Review – LV6Q & LV9Q Models
The Panasonic Arc 5 competes with the best electric shavers, including the top-of-the-range Braun’s. It is what I call a beast of a shaver because it plows through my coarse growth mostly with ease.
Panasonic Series 900 Review – LV6U & LV9U Models
It was great to revisit the Arc 5, or the Series 900, as it is named for this revised version of the Arc 5. It remains the most powerful shaver I have used and chops down coarse growth quickly.
Panasonic Arc 6 Review – LS9A & LS8A Models
The first of its kind, the Panasonic Arc 6 is the first shaver with 6 blades working together to remove as much facial growth as and as quickly as possible. It’s a lawnmower on coarse growth.
Andis
Andis ProFoil Lithium Shaver Review – The Barbers Tool
The Andis ProFoil Lithium is a shaver that many of us have seen or at least heard (it’s loud) when visiting the barbers. Barbers use these to finish the fades on gents’ haircuts. It is not ideal for facial shaving (based on comfort) but some guys with hardy skin can use it.
Head Shavers
Skull Shaver Palm Review – The Baby Skull Shaver
The Skull Shaver Palm is a head shaver among a range of shavers made by Skull Shaver. While it is the cheapest in the range, it’s a great head shaving tool that does exactly what it needs to do –gives a quick and close enough head shave.
Skull Shaver Pitbull Silver Pro Review – 2nd in the Range
The Skull Shaver Pitbull Silver Pro is an ergonomically friendly electric razor designed to make head shaving comfortable and quick. I found it has comfortable blades that hug closely to the scalp while head shaving, and it gives a close electric style shave
Skull Shaver Pitbull Gold Pro Review – 3nd in the Range
The Skull Shaver Pitbull Gold Pro is a rotary-style head shaver with one of the best ergonomically friendly designs. A comfortable head shave that gets as close to the scalp as we can get from today’s head shavers that available and I have tested many.
Skull Shaver Platinum Review – 4th in Range
The Platinum Pro is the top-of-the-range model made by the company Skull Shaver. It’s also the most expensive – but is the extra expense worth it? That’s the question, and I found the Silver and Gold a better buy.
Remington RX5 Head Shaver Review
The Remington RX5, also known as the Ultimate RX5, is a dedicated rotary-style head shaver designed to give users a quick and fairly comfortable head shave. It’s among the better head shavers I have used.
Remington Balder Pro Review (USA only)
The Remington Balder Pro (XR7000) is a dedicated electric head shaver that is extremely popular. Compared to many other head shavers on the market I have used and reviewed, I found it to be a good option.
Remington RX7 Head Shaver Review
With some differences, Remington has upgraded the predecessor head shaver RX5 to the Remington RX7. The main noted difference is the turbo power option, which offers users two shaving power options. I like the upgrade when the price is right!
Remington Balder Boss Review (USA only)
The Remington Balder Boss has a slimmer design than the previous Pro model and a few other important changes, including the Turbo feature. I mostly find it an improvement, but the present additional cost is not very buyer-friendly (that could change).
Remington Balder Pro Review (USA only)
The Remington Balder Pro (XR7000) is a dedicated electric head shaver that is extremely popular. Compared to many other head shavers on the market I have used and reviewed, I found it to be a good option, although improvements could be made.
FreeBird FlexSeries Review
Another head shaver designated for shaving heads is the FlexSeries made by the company Freebird. It’s a shaver worth comparing with others, and the company provides a blade subscription service you need to be aware of.
FreeBird FlexSeries Pro Review
The FreeBird FlexSeries Pro gives me comfortable head shaves and has some major improvements on the previous FlexSeries model. It’s one for you guys to compare with the best I have used and reviewed, as it’s a good option.
Groomie BaldiePro Review
Groomie is another brand that brings a dedicated head shaver to the men’s grooming scene. There are a lot of similarities with these devices. I see the Groomie as one that could be improved which is about the blade system.
MicroTouch Titanium Review
The MicroTouch Titanium Head Shaver proved to provide a very comfortable head shave with its flexing titanium blades; however, the shape is not as ergonomically friendly as others, and the warranty is not a great offer. It is a head shaver worth considering, though!
Brio Raze Head Shaver Review
The Brio Raze Head Shaver offers useful features like flex blades, pivoting heads, titanium-coated blades, and cool LED indicators. However, it lacked in the most important area of performance–when having a head shave (i.e., comfort and closeness).
Manscaped Dome Shaver Pro Review
The head shaver, Manscaped The Dome Shaver Pro, gives a fast and close head shave and has a lot going for it. However, comfort was lacking, and I would like to see an improvement in the blade system so that it could be heading toward the gold standard.
